ABSTRACT

                The research title on “ The  people’s opinions  on  application  of  Sangahavatthu principle for  service  providing  of  Tai  Tex Seang Tung  rescue  volunteers, Nakhon  Si Thammarat province,” has  objectives   as  follows  1) to study the people’s opinions on application of  Sangahavatthu  principle for service providing of  Tai Tex Seang Tung rescue volunteers, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province,  2) to compare the people’s  opinions on application of Sangahavatthu principle for service providing of  Tai Tex Seang Tung  rescue volunteers, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province  in  terms  of sexes, ages,  degrees  of  education  and  occupations  as  differently  and,  3) to  study the  suggestions  were  concerned  with  problems  and  the  way  to  apply  the  Sangahavatthu  principle for service providing of  Tai Tex Seang Tung rescue volunteers, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province. The  population  for  this  research  were  composed  of  people  who  have  taken service  providing  of Tai Tex Seang Tung rescue volunteers, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province  amount  4,700  persons, the sample size according to Krejcie and Morgan’s table  measurement, the samples were amount  355 persons, the instrument for data  collection was questionnaire  both closed – open end  questions, data analysis by package computer program, the statistics were applied as follows, frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Z-test,  F-test  and  to  test  the  difference  in  each  pair  by  Scheffe’s method.

            The  findings  were  as  follows;

            1)  The  people’s  opinions on application of Sangahavatthu  principle for  service  providing  of  Tai Tex Seang Tung  rescue  volunteers, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province  by  overview  was  at  more  level  when  considered  in  each  aspect  found  that  the  aspect  of  Atthacariya (useful  conduct)  was  the  highest  mean and  followed  up  the  aspect  of  Samanattata (even  and  equal  treatment)  and the aspect of  Piyavaca (Kindly  speech)  was  the  lowest  average, classified  in  terms  of  sexes, ages, degrees  of  education  and  occupations  by  overall  was  at  more  level.

                2)  The  comparative  results on application of  Sangahavatthu  principles for service providing of Tai Tex Seang Tung  rescue volunteers, Nakhon  Si  Thammarat  province in  terms of  degrees of  education  found  that  there  were  different  as  statistical  significance  at .01,  but  in  terms  of  sexes, ages,  and  occupations  found  that  there  were  not  different  as  statistical  significance  at .05

                3)  The  suggestions  were  concerned  with  problems  and  resolution  on  application of  Sangahavatthu  principle  for service providing of  Tai Tex Seang Tung rescue volunteers, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province, found that the volunteers had lack of modern equipments to rescue the victims i.e. life vest for helping the victims and their relatives etc. The resolutions found that there should have varieties of  modern equipments to rescue the victims and their relatives etc.
