Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

The objectives of the study were as follows: 1) to study the context of the communities’ Participation in which they appered in the General Buddhist Scripture Schools Muang District Nakhonsawan Province 2) to study the opinions of the communities’ participation in educational administration of General Buddhist Scripture Schools Muang District Nakhonsawan Province 3) to study the involvement of the communities’ participation in educational administration of General Buddhist Scripture Schools Muang District  Nakhonsawan Province.

The research method of this study used a Mixed Research. The sample used In this study was taken from school administrators, school boad committees,

teachers and related people of Sup-district Administration Organization for 261 respondents. The data have been collected by questionnaire and interview form. The data have been analyzed by means of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The tests of hypotheses have been performed by t-test and One Way ANOVA (F-test). The findings revealed that most of the respondences had given the mean scoves for 19 items of 95 percent. There was only one item which was having the lowest score that was the participation in financial accounting and inventory assets. The fourteenth item had the highest mean scores which referred to the participation in enhancing the efficiency of operation of the General Buddhist Scripture Schools (  = 2.78).

In summary The Involvement of The communities’ participation In Educational Administration of General Buddhist Scripture schools, Muang District, Nakhonsawan Province. The schools Board comminittees of Wat Nongpling school had been satisfied In communitties’ participation. The important problems of communitties’ participation were at The meeting time, economic conditions of the community and educational qualification  of The members. The factors that promoted  The communitties’ participation depending on the capacity of the school board and staff of the community. The barriers of communitties’ participation were

Lack of the budget, lack of good communication, environment for students and lack of knowledge on their own. Furthermore, the parents had no involvement about school curriculum.If considering to the follow-up study of educational administration, there were lack of follow-up in four aspects viz academic, fiscal budget, personnel management, personel and general management, The another issue regarding school board members were as family income, occupation.It was found that the parents who served as government officials and government enterprise employees were involved at high level. The school as a part of educational quality assurance consisted of 8 steps 4 school missions and for 4 school operation.The 4 school missions comprised of academic , fiscal budget, personnel and general management. The school operation consisted of planning and monitoring, operating, evaluation, selecting the important issues for improvement and reporting.
