Abstract

  The objectives of this research were 1) to study the management of the Public Relations of the Agricultural Center Pong-Rad , Chantaburi  Province. 2) to compare the management of the Public Relations of the Agricultural Center Pong-Rad , Chantaburi  Province, classified by personal factors. 3) to study the problems and  solutions to the management of the Public Relations of the Agricultural Center Pong-Rad , Chantaburi  Province. The research used mixed research Method both quantitative research and qualitative research. The sampling population were the targets less than 20 years old, people who lived in the area of Tambon Pub-Pla Aumphur Muang, Chantaburi Province, by selecting 375 residents of the 5,961  total population. The methodology used Taro Yamane formula for the sampling population and using the questionnaires surveyed for the data collection. The data analysis performed by a computer program for social science research and following statistics such as: frequency, percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation for describing and testing hypotheses by the personal factors. The t-test results were the differences between the two groups. F-test was done by means of analyzing. One Way ANOVA was tested the difference of Means from the three groups upward. The test of the differences Means in each pair was done by the Least Significant Difference: LSD. The qualitative research method used the in-depth interview with the key informants and collaborative the context by the content analysis technique.

The research findings were as follows:
1) The management of  the Public Relations of the Agricultural Center Pong-Rad , Chantaburi  Province  was  overall opinion in the high level ( =3.68), and considering the high level found in all aspects. Means arranged respectively from maximum to minimum were policy and management (  =3.71), follow-up policy (  =3.68), budget controls (  =3.68), and organization and personnel development  = 3.64).
2) The opinion compared on the management of the Public Relations of the Agricultural Center Pong-Rad , Chantaburi  Province classified by  personal factors such as gender, age, education, occupation, and  income  average found that people with gender, age, education level had different opinion was found different opinion in the significance at level 0.05.. Meanwhile the population who had different sex, income, education and positions had no different opinion in the significance level. 
3) The suggestions of the Public Relations of the Agricultural Center Pong-Rad, Chantaburi Province found that the executives’ administrative organization should have remarkable and clearly plan in Public Relations policy. The executives of the Agricultural Center Pong-Rad, Chantaburi Province found that the administrative organization should develop the knowledge, ability, morality to promote personnel experienced in public relations. Being recognition to public and strengthen the good image to the institution, the executives should monitor the goal and adjust to suit the current situation. The executives should analyte by SWOT analysis of the problems, advantages, disadvantages, including control, monitor and evaluate the practice of public relations continuously. The managerial should allocate the budget appropriately to promote the media production and also cooperate with the outside agencies to support the public relations in order to save cost and value most in public relations.
