Abstract |
Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the level of the efficiency on public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province, 2) to compare the opinion of the people toward the efficiency on public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province by classifying on the personal factors, and 3) to study the problems and suggestions for the efficiency on public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province.
This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting of the qualitative and quantitative research. The sample was 300 people served from Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province. The tools of the research were questionnaire and in-Depth interview from the 8 key informants. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistics for analysis data used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and F-test with One-way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference: LSD.
Results of the Research
1. Overall, the level of the efficiency on public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province was at the high level (=3.42) When considering each aspect, it was found that serving fairly was at the highest level (=3.55). Then, serving suddenly and in time was (=3.41), serving sufficiently was (=3.37). However, serving progressively was at the lowest level (=3.34).
2. The comparison of the opinion of the people toward the efficiency on public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province by classifying on the personal factors found that the people having the different gender, age, degree of education occupation and income had no the opinion toward the efficiency on public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province. Therefore, the hypothesis was denied.
3. The problems and obstacles of the public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province were that the Registration Office had the facilities insufficient to the demand, did not tell the procedure in the working to the others, and did not give the cue card. The staff did not pay attention to serve the people fairly, and some staff served with the unwillingness, did not smile, did not speak beautifully, and served with the unfairness and the inconsistence. The suggestions for the public service of Registration Office at Buengnarang District, Phichit Province were that the Registration Office should provide the facilities sufficient to the demand. The staff should pay attention to serve the people fairly and tell the procedure in the working. Moreover, The staff should have the service mind, serve with the willingness, smile, speak beautifully, serve with the fairness and the consistence to people, and provide the service in Call Center to facilitate to the people.
