Abstract

                 This thesis is of three objectives, namely: to study of the temperaments in Vipassanā in theravāda Buddhisl Scriptures, to study of Vipassanūpakilesas and to Study of the examination of Vipassanūpakilesas in developping Vipassanā Bhāvanā, by studying the data from The tipitalca, the Commentaries, the sub-commentaries Visesa-pakarana Scriptures, Visuddhimugga, the academic documents and the documents and bringing them to be explained.From the study, it is found that.

                 The temperaments in Inside Meditation mean anything which attacks a persons who practices the subject-of meditation. Rūpa is the form which dose not know anything or the thing known by oneself, such as the dead person is the form, the table is the form etc. The Norm is the thing which knows the temperements and the different thing. The Norm is the nature veclining to the temperaments, thus. The Norm is the knower.

      In studying the temperament: 5 aggregates,12 Ayatanas,18elements,and

22Indriyas,4Ariyasee Paticcasamuppadas Vipassanūpakilesa are the states causing The Inside Meditation to be impure. They are obhāsa, piti, naṃa, passaddhi, atimokkha, sukha, puggaha,

upekkha and nikanti

                 The practice of the Insight Meditation causes the wisdom to arive which Knows the thuths: Aniccainṁ Dukkharṁ Anatta. These Dhammas appear in the Four Noble Truths taught by the Buddha in Satipathāna Suta: Kāyanupassanā, Vedananupassanā, Cittanupassanā and Dhammanupassnā.All these Dhammas are the principles of practice to be away from the sufferings.
