Abstract

 

Abstract

     This thesis consists of 3 aims :- 1. To study of principles for meditation of Phra Rajanirodharangsi,  2. To study of ways for the meditation of Phra Rajanirodharangsi and 3. To study of application for the meditation of Phra Rajanirodharangsi. Its form  belongs to  document. The primary source is Tepitaka and its explanation. The secondary is a text, a book, some research report is related to this research including online media. It is the analysis of descriptive data.   

                 The result  of research is found that :-

                 Phra Rajanirodharangsi’s the principles of teaching are gift (Dana), precepts (Sila), cultivation (Bhavana), and intellection (Pañña) as the Buddha’s Teaching (Dhamma). We as people have the human property, understand death, understand 4 elements, understand conventional truth,  Dhamma treatment. We treat full Dhamma, Sila, Samadhi, Pañña, Sadda, Hiri and  Ottappa. We delete suffering, cultivate mindfulness. We have one mind, see Dhamma, have only one object, have free mind. We attempt relief, delete enemy. Finally, We have mental transcendence, have deep mind, understand non-self, have bright mind. We see impermanence, suffering and non-self. In addition,  Phra Rajanirodharangsi teaches some signs and eight noble paths also.

                  The ways of Phra Rajanirodharangsi’s meditation consist of sitting as beginning, consist of mental cultivation and development of sitting. He teaches to cultivate by saying ‘Buddho, Buddho’ or breathe in, breathe out with to be queer in absorption and he teaches the ways of application for  meditation in beginning by gift (Dana), precepts (Sila), cultivation (Bhavana) intellection (Pañña). He teaches the application of action in sign (Kammanimit) and path sigh (Gatinimit) by aspiration, by doing comparison, by thinking of stages (Devatuta). We have mindfulness with clear comprehension, have 4 bases of mindfulness by  focusing some 40 objects of meditation.  We have to intend painfulness, to intend mind in lust, hatred and delusion of mind. We have to intend in sight of the three characters and apply common meditation and working with the mindfulness, intellection and we have the next dangers. Phra Rajanirodharangsi  teaches the application of the threefold trainings with knowledge,  activities and management and application of the eightfold noble path by tranquility of the mind and insight.
