Abstract

This research has five objectives which are 1) to develop an Integrated Training Package Based on Buddhist Psychology for Reinforcing Moral Behaviors on Public Mind (MBPM) for employees of SMEs in Samut Prakan Province, 2) to compare the MBPM behavior of the experimental SME employees between, before, and after the training sessions, 3) to compare the MBPM between the experimental group versus the controlled group, 4) to study the sustainability of the experimental group after 30 days of training, and 5) to study the overall opinion from the SME employees in the Samut Prakan province toward the training package. This training package was earlier approved by 19 scholars in related fields using a focus group study. Later 40 samples of SME staffs were selected using a simple random method for sampling group out of the total population of 80 employees. Out of this 40 samples, 20 were randomized to be the experimental group, while another 20 became the controlled group. The research methodology used includes the series of question for focus groups, the integrated training package using Buddhist Psychology, the scale of MBPM reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha which is equivalent to 0.93, then followed by the quantitative questionnaire towards opinion about thetraining package. The research statistics were analyzed using mean score, standard deviation, t-test and percentage.
