The Buddhist Integration for Risk Management and Decision Making for the Investment in the Online Financial Market

Abstract

 

This Qualitative research integrates risk management and decision making for online financial market investment. The three main objectives are (1)to study modern practice of risk management and decision making for investment in the online financial market, (2) to study Buddhadhamma that support the first objective, and
(3) to integrate Buddhadhamma to the modern practice. The brief result are stated below.

1) Moden practice of risk management and decision making for investment in the online financial market with MetaTrader4 system, there are ten variables that effect risk management: total investment, margin and leverage, margin level, account volume, price deviation, overnight interest rate, foreign exchange rate, creditability of broker, law on buy/sell order, and online system&communication. By using mathematical theory along with indicators targeting sufficiency of investment to forecast the price and reduce risk in the investment, the result is insignificant. This is understandable since the Moden practice rely on historical data to forecast, lacking the current data. In addition, with many more market's uncontrollable variables, it is impossible as such to use artificial intelligent to assist in both mathematically and psychologically.

2) To study Buddhist principles that promote risk management and decision making for investment in online financial markets. The two important virtues are:
1. Mindfulness 2. Intelligence, if there is intelligence on the complete information. The decision to solve the problem will not be wrong. Wisdom and Mindfulness and Concentration can give a clear and complete picture of the risk to the Dharma to help reduce the errors caused by incomplete information are 1. Divine eye 2. Experience
3. Friendly habit. In addition, concentration with information receive and proper attention or
critical reflection will able to aware the real value of information in making decision and control risk. Concentration is important to make the calm to see the true and complete picture for decision making.

3) To integrate risk management and decision making for investment market online with Dharma principles. 

This research has proposed a new Triangles Model of Successful, mindfulness, concentration and wisdom. To integrate risk management and decision making. The application of mindfulness, concentration, and risk-taking, and the use of mindfulness, concentration on the principle of fairness, were considered to cover the risk of decision making on speculative pricing from indicators or mathematical calculations. Because investing in online financial markets is a high risk market. Changed 24 hours. Making money online is not difficult or not easy. Depend on awareness and mind control in investment decisions. Start at before and during till the end of investment status. The risk exists in every moment. Careless only one time it means losing of investment.

A summary of the overall research of this online financial market risk test. Great return and can lose money in a blink of an eye. Therefore, risk control and decision-making depend on experience and individual expectations. There are no recipe formats to win game. Disciplinary of Dhammas like present benefit, principles of service and social integration, the Four Paths of Accomplishment, virtues for a good household life, 4 objects of sympathy, wise consideration, strict to auspice Sutra. All festivity would support risk management and decision making investment and common life.
